Description: ConfrontĀ® specialty herbicide is a post-emergence weed control solution designed for commercial sites. It is effective in controlling broadleaf weeds in established cool-season and warm-season nonresidential turf. Confront is a nonphenoxy herbicide, meaning it does not contain 2,4-D or dicamba. It is ideal for use in parks, golf courses, commercial grounds, cemeteries, and schools.
The active ingredients in Confront are Triclopyr and Clopyralid. Triclopyr works well on many hard-to-control common weeds such as wild violet and oxalis, while Clopyralid controls common weeds such as clover, dandelion, narrowleaf plantain, and thistle. The two chemistries together form an effective duo against a broad spectrum of weeds.
Key Benefits of Confront 2D Herbicide:
Long-Lasting: Confront goes twice as far as a standard three-way herbicide, saving on product and labor costs associated with repeat treatments. It provides eight weeks of control with one application.
Broad-Spectrum Control: Confront provides superior post-emergence control of more than 35 difficult-to-manage species of broadleaf weeds, including clover, thistle, dandelion, and oxalis.
Highly Effective: As a nonphenoxy herbicide, Confront is ideal for golf courses, parks, commercial grounds, cemeteries, and other public facilities.
Flexible Application: Confront can be used for broadcast applications or in portable sprayers for spot treatments from early spring through fall when broadleaf weeds are actively growing. It is labeled for use on established cool- and warm-season turfgrasses, including turfgrass in sod farms with noted exceptions. Turfgrass and lawn uses are restricted to non-residential sites. It should not be used on golf course putting greens or tees.
Controls up to 35 Tough Broadleaf Weeds: With one application, Confront can control up to 35 tough broadleaf weeds.
